The Spring 2021 Term will run from February 22, 2021 through May 22, 2021. The following positions are currently accepting applications:
Constituent and Legislative Affairs Intern
Illinois Sustainability Intern
We offer a comprehensive internship experience that fosters civic engagement and prepares intern candidates for public service at the local, state, or federal level:

Play an active role in shaping the Illinois of tomorrow with Humanity First.

Utilize your expertise in advancing the agency of WE the People in our local government.

Gain valuable professional skills while developing your voice as an advocate and a leader for a human-centered economy.

Connect with stakeholders across Illinois and around the country working to put Humanity First.
Qualified candidates must have completed relevant coursework and be either an Illinois resident (residing in the state for at least one 90-day period in a given year) or be enrolled at an Illinois educational institution and authorized to work in the United States. Citizenship is not a requirement for the Humanity First for Illinois Internship Program.
All internship opportunities are provided on an unpaid, part-time basis.
